Why People Come In

Most people find us after something stopped working

Not a crisis, usually. Just a slow drift that regular checkups keep calling normal.

You're tired in a way sleep doesn't fix

Eight hours in bed and you still wake up flat. Coffee stopped doing much a while ago.

The weight keeps coming back

You've lost it before. It found you again, usually with company, and this time nothing's moving at all.

Your labs came back "normal"

Everything in range on paper. Nobody explained why you feel the way you do, and the visit was over in nine minutes.

Recovery takes longer than it used to

A hard week in the gym costs you three days now. Same training, different body.

Mood, focus, and drive have flattened

Not depression exactly. More like the volume got turned down on everything you used to care about.

You want a person, not a portal

A questionnaire and a box in the mail leaves out the part where somebody reads your chart and follows your labs.

These have causes you can measure. Hormones, metabolism, body composition, sleep, and the medications you already take all pull on how you feel, which is why we test before we treat.

Why This Matters

You are not the only one dealing with this

40.3%

of U.S. adults have obesity, and 72.4% are overweight or obese.

~1%

is how much testosterone can fall per year in men, starting in the late 30s.

American women reach menopause every year, most between 45 and 55.

7 yrs

is how long the menopause transition typically lasts, and it is treatable the whole way through.

Common does not mean you have to live with it. Every one of these has treatment behind it, and the first step is finding out which one you are actually dealing with.

The Short Version

What Summit Health Clinic is

Summit Health Clinic is a provider-led wellness and longevity practice in Springfield, Missouri. We handle medical weight loss, testosterone replacement, women's hormone therapy, peptide therapy, sexual health, hair restoration, body composition testing, and IV hydration, all under one provider.

Care is direct-pay, which means no insurance company decides what you're allowed to try. Visits run 45 minutes to an hour instead of nine. Scott Adler, PA-C sees you at the first appointment and every one after it, so nothing gets handed off and re-explained.

We measure first

Every plan starts with lab work and an InBody 270 body composition scan. That's the difference between treating a number and treating a person, and it's the part most of the fast online clinics skip.

What We Treat

Eight services, one provider

Pick where you are. Every one of these starts with the same evaluation, so if you need two of them, they get built together instead of fighting each other.

Medical Weight Loss

Semaglutide, tirzepatide, and oral options like phentermine when they fit. Prescribed after we look at your labs and your body composition, not after a two-minute form.

  • InBody 270 scan included, every visit
  • Muscle tracked so you don't lose it with the fat
  • U.S. compounding pharmacies only
Medical weight loss →

Testosterone Replacement Therapy

For men whose energy, drive, strength, and mood have flattened out. Diagnosed on labs and symptoms together, then dosed to how you actually respond.

  • Full hormone panel, labs included
  • Estrogen and fertility managed alongside
  • Unlimited visits and messaging
Testosterone therapy →

Bioidentical Hormone Therapy for Women

Hot flashes, night sweats, broken sleep, weight that shifted without warning, a libido that left. Perimenopause and menopause, plus younger women running low.

  • Hormones matched to your own chemistry
  • Guided by symptoms and lab data together
  • Most women notice change in 3 weeks to 3 months
Women's hormone therapy →

Peptide Therapy

Growth hormone peptides and targeted protocols for recovery, sleep quality, body composition, and healthy aging. Prescription only, filled by licensed U.S. pharmacies.

  • Full panel including IGF-1
  • Nothing from the research-peptide grey market
  • Adjusted on follow-up labs
Peptide therapy →

Sexual Health & Hair Restoration

Erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, and low sexual function in women. Plus hair loss treated with topicals, orals, peptides, and red light therapy.

  • Treated alongside hormones, not separately
  • Discreet visits, in person or telehealth
  • Medication billed at cost, no markup games
Sexual health & hair →

IV Hydration

Six formulations from simple saline to high-dose vitamin C and mineral blends. Thirty to sixty minutes in a recliner, run by our medical team.

  • Hydration, energy, immunity, and recovery blends
  • B12 and anti-nausea add-ons available
  • No membership required
IV hydration →

InBody 270 Body Composition

Fat mass, lean muscle, and water, segment by segment. The scan that tells you whether the weight you lost was the weight you wanted to lose.

  • Takes under a minute, no appointment marathon
  • Open to athletes and the general public
  • Repeated at every follow-up
Body composition →

Lipotropic Injections

B-vitamin and amino acid injections used as support alongside a weight loss plan, for energy and fat metabolism. An add-on, never the whole plan.

  • Paired with a real protocol
  • Quick in-office visit
  • Reviewed by your provider first
Lipotropic injections →

Not sure which one you need?

Most people who walk in for one of these end up needing part of another. That's the point of putting them in one place. Book the evaluation and we'll work out what's actually driving it before anything gets prescribed.

How We Compare

The online clinic, your primary care, and us

All three have a place. They're built for different jobs, and it's worth knowing which one you're actually buying.

If you have a complex medical history, we want you to keep your primary care doctor, and we'll coordinate with them. What we're built for is the optimization and longevity work most primary care offices don't have twenty minutes to do, or that sits outside their comfort zone.

The Process

How it works

Same four steps whether you came in for weight loss, hormones, or peptides.

1

Evaluation

Forty-five minutes to an hour with Scott. Full history, physical, lab work, and an InBody 270 scan. You leave knowing what your numbers actually say.

2

Your plan gets built

Once labs are back, we go through them together and design the protocol around what they show. Medication when it's appropriate, plus nutrition and training guidance that fits the life you have.

3

Monthly check-ins

Office or telehealth, your choice. Repeat scans, repeat labs, dose adjustments. Unlimited messaging in between so you're not sitting on a question for three weeks.

4

Maintenance

When you hit the goal, the plan shifts to holding it. That's the part most programs never get to, and it's the reason people come back to us after trying something else.

How Billing Works

Direct-pay, and priced on every service page

No insurance, no membership fee stacked on top of your plan, no surprise line items. Each service page lists exactly what the evaluation costs and what the monthly runs, before you call.

Flat monthly

One price per month for your program. Visits, messaging, and follow-up scans are in it, not billed on top.

Medication you can trust

Prescriptions are filled only by US-based compounding pharmacies held to strict quality and safety standards.

HSA and FSA friendly

Ask for an itemized receipt and submit it. Outside lab work may also be billable to your insurance separately.

We don't take insurance, and that's deliberate. It's what lets a visit run an hour and lets your plan follow your labs instead of a coverage table.

Straight Answers

Questions we get before the first visit

What is Summit Health Clinic?

Summit Health Clinic is a direct-pay wellness and longevity clinic at 2833 E Battlefield Rd, Bldg B, Ste 100 in Springfield, Missouri. Scott Adler, PA-C provides medical weight loss, testosterone replacement therapy, bioidentical hormone therapy for women, peptide therapy, sexual health and hair restoration treatment, InBody 270 body composition analysis, lipotropic injections, and IV hydration. The clinic holds a 5.0 star rating across 54 Google reviews and serves patients in person in Springfield and by telemedicine throughout Missouri.

Do you take insurance?

No. Summit Health is direct-pay, which is what keeps a visit long and keeps the treatment decision between you and your provider. We can give you an itemized receipt to submit to an HSA or FSA, and lab work ordered through outside labs may be billable to your insurance separately.

How much does a first appointment cost?

It depends which program you come in for, and every service page lists its evaluation fee and monthly cost up front. Whatever you book, the evaluation includes your history and physical, lab work, and an InBody 270 body composition scan. Call or text (417) 232-3000 and we'll tell you the exact number before you schedule anything.

Do I have to come to the office, or can this be telehealth?

Both work. Initial evaluations are usually in person because of the body composition scan, and follow-ups can be done by video from anywhere in Missouri. Patients drive in from Nixa, Ozark, Republic, Branson, and further out, and we're happy to work with anyone in the state regardless of distance.

Where do your medications come from?

Licensed U.S. compounding pharmacies overseen by their state pharmacy boards, plus standard retail pharmacies for commercially available drugs. Nothing is imported and we don't use the grey market that's grown up around GLP-1 and peptide demand.

How fast can I be seen?

Usually within the same week. Call or text (417) 232-3000 and we'll find you a slot. A short phone consult before you book is free if you want to ask questions first.

Do you treat both men and women?

Yes. Weight loss, peptides, IV hydration, body composition, and sexual health treatment are for both. Testosterone replacement is for men, and bioidentical hormone replacement is our program for women in perimenopause, menopause, or with hormone deficits at a younger age.

Can I do more than one program at a time?

Often, yes, and it's frequently the right call. Low testosterone and stalled weight loss tend to travel together, and treating one while ignoring the other is why a lot of people plateau. Running both under one provider means the dosing, the labs, and the timing get coordinated instead of colliding.

What makes this different from an online weight loss or TRT service?

Three things. You get lab work and a body composition scan before anything is prescribed. You see the same provider at every visit, so nobody has to re-read your chart from scratch. And your plan gets adjusted on your own follow-up numbers, not a fixed protocol shipped to everybody. It costs more upfront than a questionnaire and a subscription, and it's the reason results tend to hold.
