Scott Adler, PA-C

Owner and provider, Summit Health Clinic

Scott earned his physician assistant degree in 2010 and spent the next thirteen years in the parts of medicine where you learn fast: two years as a hospitalist PA managing admitted patients, two years as an emergency room provider, and roughly eight years helping run a rural urgent care, where he treated everyone from infants to the very elderly. Scott is comfortable with what falls outside the textbook, and with meeting you exactly where you are in your health journey.

That background is why Summit Health looks the way it does. Hormone therapy, weight loss, and longevity medicine sit on top of general medicine, not beside it, and a provider who has spent years reading labs, catching the thing nobody was looking for, and managing patients who were genuinely sick brings a different kind of attention to a wellness visit.

He opened Summit Health in Springfield in 2023. Every plan here is built, prescribed, and monitored by Scott personally. There is no rotating staff and no handoff.

Founded Summit Health Clinic

Why he opened Summit Health

Scott started Summit out of a desire to be a leader in longevity medicine and proactive health: getting ahead of disease instead of waiting to react to it.Scott Adler, PA-C

Traditional practice is built to treat what has already gone wrong. A twelve-minute visit, a diagnosis, a prescription, and a follow-up in six months. It works when you are sick. It does very little for the person who is not sick yet but is heading that direction. That's the person whose labs are drifting, whose energy is gone, whose weight has been climbing for a decade.

Summit Health is built for that person. Direct-pay, so a first visit runs up to a full hour instead of twelve minutes. Measurement first, with body composition scans and lab work rather than guesswork. Treatment when it is clinically appropriate, monitored monthly. And a provider who is reachable between visits by phone or email.

The goal is not just a number on a chart. It is helping patients feel and function well for as long as possible, supporting energy, strength, body composition, and hormone health with treatments that have evidence behind them and a clinician watching the results.

Outside the clinic

Scott is married and has four boys, which accounts for most of the schedule. What's left goes to fishing, classic cars, travel, sports, reading, and a well-documented Star Wars habit. And yes, go Cards.
